In today’s world full of challenges and diversity, it is important to pay attention to groups in society that face specific problems and needs. One such group is the deaf Roma, who face many obstacles in the areas of communication, education and inclusion in society.
In our project, we decided to focus on this vulnerable community by mapping their needs and providing targeted solutions. At the heart of this effort is the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation, which we concluded in Bratislava with a representative of the organization on July 16, 2024 with the state-funded organization of the Ministry of Health, Healthy Regions, which implements the NP Healthy Communities 2B.

This document is not only a formal record, but also a story of cooperation, solidarity and determination to achieve positive change in the lives of these people.
The Memorandum offers us a guide on the path to better understanding and supporting deaf Roma. At the same time, it calls on us to build bridges between different cultures, reminding us of the importance of education, innovation and inclusion in all aspects of social life.
It is our intention that the Memorandum serves not only as a legal document, but as a living story of cooperation and transformation. Its words are intended to excite and inspire us to take action that will leave a mark on the lives of those who need our support and understanding.
The reason we decided to address this issue is clear – we want to create an environment where every person, regardless of their race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation, has equal opportunities and possibilities to live a full life, regardless of their individual characteristics.
