The Educators Congress 2024 took place on April 5-7, 2024. The choice of the congress organizers fell on the city of Bucharest, where all participants could admire the beauty of the capital, the valley, the gardens and the triumphal arch. The congress was organized by the Roma educational institution ROMA EDUCATION FUND with a team from the British organization INNOVATION UNIT supporting the transformation of education around the world.

The congress was carried out in the spirit of innovation of educational programs for teachers of pre-primary, primary, secondary, tertiary education, tutors, mentors, teaching assistants and everyone who works in the field of education with the Roma community. Educators from five different countries in Europe honored us with their experience in the educational process – Slovakia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria.

During the congress, various discussions focused on the use of various methodological procedures for the development of creative thinking, creativity and creative problem solving in classroom teaching situations were held. The effort and efforts of educators to implement into educational practice various modified forms of strategies, methods and forms of work supporting the development of creativity and creative thinking of students – is a constantly ongoing process, in every educational area, subject and extracurricular activity. However, it requires a well-prepared teacher who will respect not only the requirements of the State Educational Program in our country, but will especially sensitively perceive the student, his personality, in order to show him the endless possibilities for developing his own potential in the field of creativity. This assumes that teachers will have and will also want to develop their professional competencies in this area.

We perceive our participation as the beginning or next stage of the path of gradual personality growth on both sides of the school department – the educator and the student. The educator can select which of the possibilities for developing creativity he will use. We also want to point out the perspectives of using the potential of the digital space in constituting a creative personality in the school environment.
